Conservation Seedling Program

Do you need seedlings for a conservation project next spring? If so, the Flathead Conservation District is currently accepting orders. The we have partnered with the Montana DNRC Conservation Seedling Nursery to provide small landowners (<10 acres) an opportunity to buy locally-adapted seedlings at a great value. Place your order as soon as possible for the best selection of stock.

Example conservation projects that are eligible for these seedlings include:

• Windbreaks and shelterbelts
• wildlife habitat enhancement
• reforestation or re-vegeation
• erosion control
• living snow fences
