Check out this new video from the Flathead River Steward Program. Learn how landowners are making a difference, and who are the River Steward Program partners in the Flathead. Call us if you want to join the efforts!

The Flathead River Steward Program is a collaborative effort helping landowners improve and restore riparian forests along our rivers to improve water quality, recreational opportunities, abundant fish and wildlife, and productive farm soils in the Flathead Watershed. This program is the riparian and wetlands restoration working group of the Flathead River to Lake Initiative.

Once you’ve viewed the River Steward Program video, please consider taking this 1-minute survey. The survey is to quickly assess whether the video increases people’s understanding about the importance of riparian buffers and to increase their understanding of the needs and opportunities to plant riparian buffers, including local technical assistance, funding sources, and about effective riparian planting techniques for this area.
