Spring Into Nature Educator Workshop for Early Childhood and pre K – 8

When: Saturday, April 8th, 2017; 9 – 4 pm.
Where: Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp, Lakeside, MT

Project Learning Tree (PLT) is an award-winning environmental education program that uses the forest as a ‘window on the world’ to understand our complex environment, to stimulate critical thinking and to make informed decisions. The $10 fee includes lunch. A grant from Flathead Conservation District, Montana Women in Timber, and the USFS provides each participant a new PLT Early Childhood Guide with music cd and a pre-K-8 guide, which includes 96+ready-made environmental education lessons that meet national and Montana curriculum standards. 6 OPI or PIR credits are available.
