Carrots, radishes, and beets on display at a local farmers market

It’s Farmers Market Season!

Are you interested in fresh, tasty produce or local, craft-made goods? Or are you interested in reducing your footprint by shopping locally? Or maybe you’re just looking for a fun community event where you can get great food, have a beer or coffee, listen to live music, and meet some great people?

If so, check out your local farmers market. In the Flathead Valley we are lucky enough to have a market happening almost every day of the week throughout the summer.

Not just for farmers anymore, these markets are centered around connecting local producers to the community and providing an opportunity for people to become involved in their food systems. Farmers markets are community driven and help support our local economy, reduce the ecological impacts of our food industry, and provide farm-to-table options.
