| Flathead River Conditions The Flathead Conservation District serves as a local resource for landowners to address natural resource concerns and partners with agencies and organizations to amplify locally-led conservation efforts in Flathead County. One such partner is the Flathead River Commission, a local watershed group whose mission is to maintain and improve water quality in the lower 26 miles of the Flathead River between Kalispell and Flathead Lake and actively seeks solutions to problems such as erosion due to degraded riparian health, water management, and recreation. |
